Battle of the Bar Bands 2026

Presented by Hunter West Legal Recruitment and CBABC and held in the historic Commodore Ballroom, this year’s competition once again brought together talented lawyer bands, enthusiastic supporters and a shared commitment to giving back. Congratulations to the winner of the 2026 Battle of the Bar Bands: House Arrest!

Thanks to the generosity of donors and attendees, the event raised over $120,000 in support of the CBA(BC) Benevolent Society’s mission to assist lawyers and articling students in times of crisis.

All seven bands delivered wonderful performances. It was a close competition, and each delivered an outstanding set.

To everyone who attended, donated, performed or supported the event behind the scenes, you should be proud to know your contributions are making a real difference for members of the legal community who need it most.
